Aerosols Industry

An aerosol formulation is a blend of a solid/liquid active ingredient (e.g. perfumes) with a propellant gas, emulsifiers, etc.

LPG by itself is a colourless and odourless gas in its vapour form and the main industry where LPG in its natural odourless form is required is in the aerosol industry, where it is considered an ideal ’propellant’. Aerosol propellants are used by manufacturers of Pesticides, Air-fresheners, Perfumes, Cosmetics, Spray Paint and Food grade packaging material. It is the most often used aerosol propellant for a water-free environment or for products with small water content.

LPG Aerosol propellant consists of a high purity mixture of propane, isobutane and n-butane. These propellants are used in most aerosols today, and have been used for many years in household aerosol products.

LPG does not contain any ozone depleting substances, thus making it the most trusted & environmentally safe alternative. It has replaced the Ozone depleting CFC gases which were earlier used by the aerosol Industry.
